This includes activity such as messaging, support requests, and other user communications, for purposes such as fraud prevention, quality assurance, legal compliance, and platform improvement.

By using Garage Space, you agree to how we collect and use your information as described here and in our Terms of Service.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you use Garage Space and interact with our platform and services. This includes information you give us directly, data collected automatically when you access or use our site or app, and details provided by third parties we work with.

We may occasionally collect information not specifically listed in this policy, and if we do, we’ll use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as explained when we collect it.

  • User-generated content: Any comments, photos, videos, messages, or other content you submit to public areas of the platform or in direct communications with other users.
  • Payment data: Information required to process payments such as your card details, billing address, and transaction history. If you pay through Stripe, we may receive limited account details including your Stripe account ID, bank name, routing number, and last four digits of your account number.

  • Chat tools: Features powered by third-party chat providers may collect and store information you share or your behavior during sessions. Some may involve AI or automated agents, not live humans.
  • Session replays: We may use third-party tools to replay user sessions (e.g., clicks, scrolls, keystrokes) for diagnostic and platform improvement purposes.
  • SDKs: Our mobile apps may include software development kits (SDKs) that allow third parties to collect app usage data, add social sharing features, or deliver interest-based ads.
  • Embedded scripts: Temporary bits of code used to gather interaction data (like where you click) while you're browsing.
  • Other technologies: These may include device identifiers, local storage (HTML5), or cache-based tracking used to recognize returning users or manage performance.

Where AI-generated content is offered to users (such as automatically created listing drafts or communication templates), the responsibility for reviewing, editing, and approving that content rests solely with the user before it is made public. Users are not required to accept or publish any AI-generated content, and Garage Space does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of content created by automated systems.
